This past weekend the Outreach Board held a retreat focused around the purpose of Outreach and some strategic planning for the board. We reflected on why we particpate in outreach and what is means to us, why Plymouth is such a strong vehicle for outreach. We then looked at some strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and focused on some issues. We then came up with some actions and resources needed to address key issues. All of this will information will be put together and we will have a vision for the future of the Outreach Board. We will continue to post on this vision as it comes into focus.

Thanks for your post, Katie. And thanks to all who participated or who worked beforehand to make the retreat a success. Especially, thanks to Barbara for doing a great job of leading us. I think we all learned a lot, and we generated some good ideas.
Now it's up to all of us to collect and organize our ideas, to prioritize them, and then to follow-up with action.
I'm working on my parts of the draft document now. Please send me your work as you complete it. Word format would be best, but plaintext will work, too. I'll pull everything together and distribute what I have next week.
Also, please feel free to post comments on this blog, and we'll work them in.
